Our Hometown with look of my residence (flat in high 13th floor)

Our Hometown with look of my residence (flat in high 13th floor)

The new antenna is connected via an adapter of
the rainpipe and grounded with the balcony.
The longwire goes finally to a little fence and
along there to the final round 300 meters copper
wire. Fine reception due to we are on the border
of the city, in the near of a big forest.

Our Shack:
In the moment we use a NRD525 (is borrowed/loan base)
and a Minix MR73B. This Minix radio was a big fortune,
my wife found it on a flew market and bought it for less
20 € and no function - defective. After check I found that
only the NF part (connection output to the loudspeaker) was
damaged and I repaired it. Now the MR73B works very good
especially on mediumwave (AM).

On top of the MR73B we have:
AT2 preselector (for to have 50 Ohm Impedance
of the longwire/copperwire), a NF noise filter, and
a homebrew LW/AM antenna adjustment unit
(10 khz - 1999 khz), done by a former CB Op.

Finally again a pic of our dog "Socke" (socks).
